Wellbeing

Yass Public School staff and community are committed to looking after the wellbeing of all our students.  There are many services students can access at our school.

YPS support the cognitive physical, social, emotional and spiritual development of students and allows them to connect, succeed and thrive throughout their education.

Additional learning support

Our learning support team meets fortnightly to discuss student achievement, individual support needs, attendance and access to services.  Teachers can refer their students onto this caseload.

Support from external providers

Our school works closely with families to make sure every child gets the support they need to learn and thrive. Sometimes this means bringing in specialist providers from outside our school, such as therapists funded by the NDIS or other programs.
